However, there is more chrome on the grille this time around and the exhaust tips have been chrome-plated. Compared to the previous-gen 6 Series as well, the differences are only the wider grille, sharper headlamp and reprofiled bumpers. There are four paint options to choose from – Mineral White, Tanzanite Blue, Skyscraper Grey and Carbon Black. (Image: BMW)
In terms of dimensions, the 6 Series measures 5,091 mm in length, 1,538 mm in width and 2,158 mm in height. (Image: BMW)

The Signature variant also includes BMW’s Remote Park Assist. This allows the driver to step out and use the key fob to control the car when parking in tight spots. Other features include four-zone climate control, electrically adjustable rear seats (optional), panoramic sunroof, active rear spoiler, powered tailgate, cruise control and adaptive air suspension as standard. Safety, too, has been taken care of with six airbags, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, ISOFIX child seat anchors, ABS with EBD and run-flat tyres. (Image: BMW)
The powertrain option is limited to the 630i guise. This is a 2-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that is capable of producing 258 hp of maximum power and 400 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a single 8-speed Steptronic automatic gearbox with paddle-shifters. There are four driving modes to toggle between, namely, Comfort, Comfort+, Eco Pro and Adaptive. BMW claims the 6 Series is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. This engine is mated to a 48V mild-hybrid system for added fuel efficiency and an additional 11 hp of power for short durations. (Image: BMW)
