Former trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar most likely forged her disability certificate, Delhi Police said in status report to the Delhi High Court on Wenesday.

Delhi Police also told the court that the disability certificate submitted by Khedkar in 2022-23 UPSC exams was fake. She also changed her name in the certificate, they revealed.

Last week, the Delhi High Court had extended the interim protection from arrest for Khedkar. The extension is in effect until the next hearing on September 5.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) last month filed an FIR against her for fraud as she is facing scrutiny for allegedly forging disability certificates to clear the UPSC exam and become an IAS officer.
