Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru is all set for an epic dosa battle.
Two of Bengaluru's most popular eateries— Central Tiffin Room (CTR) and Rameshwaram Cafe—will soon open outlets at Bengaluru airport. "Rameshwaram Cafe will be located in Terminal 1 and CTR in Terminal 2 arrivals. It’s our mission to showcase the best of Bengaluru," a Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) source told Moneycontrol.
At present, popular South Indian eateries at Bengaluru airport include Hatti Kaapi (T2 lounge), Ooru Canteen (T1 departures), and Maiyas (T2 departures).
Central Tiffin Room (CTR), also known as Sri Sagar Hotel in Malleswaram, is an iconic food joint in Bengaluru, famous for its popular benne masala dosa, or butter masala dosa. Established in 1920, it is frequently visited by celebrities and locals alike.

Rameshwaram Cafe, founded in 2021, has quickly gained popularity thanks to its generous use of clarified butter (ghee). Named after the birthplace of former Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam, it has become a must-visit spot for travellers passing through the city.
However, pricing details of food items at these new outlets at the airport are yet to be known.
