In January, the government had allowed healthcare and frontline workers, apart from those above 60, to get the vaccine booster dose. Now, the drive has been expanded to include those in the 18-59 age bracket. But they can only get the jabs at private hospitals, for a price.
On April 8, the government said booster doses against COVID-19 for 18-59-year-olds who have completed nine months since their second dose will be available at private facilities at revised rates from April 10

The inventories at the private CVCs would be verified by SII representatives and the claim would then be processed on the basis of their approval.
