NBCC shares gain 3% on winning work orders worth Rs 369 crore

NBCC India: The state-run construction company has received three work orders worth Rs 369 crore, including infrastructure development works at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University at Jhansi and renovation and furnishing projects at ICAI Bhawan, Noida.

NBCC share price gained 3 percent in early trade on Tuesday after the company won three orders worth Rs 369.05 crore.

At 09:25 hrs, NBCC (India) was quoting at Rs 145.80, up Rs 4.50, or 3.18 percent, on the BSE.

Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi has awarded a work order worth Rs 331.9 crore for the development works of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University at Jhansi, Datia, and new campus viz Morena / Khajurao, Newari.

The High Court for State of Telangana has awarded a work order worth Rs 12.17 crore for the construction of a single court complex and residential quarters at Boath, Adilabad Dist. Telangana.

The third order is for the renovation and furnishing project of ICAI Bhawan, C1 Sector-1, Noida, worth Rs 24.98 crore from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

In the last week, the company bagged a Rs 262 crore project to redevelop the Ministry of External Affairs Housing complex in the national capital.

The company had posted a 93 percent jump in its December quarter net profit at Rs 93.67 crore.

The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 176.50 and a 52-week low of Rs 30.96 on February 5, 2024 and March 28, 2023, respectively.

Currently, the stock is trading 17.39 percent below its 52-week high and 370.93 percent above its 52-week low.

The share price rose more than 300 percent in the last one-year.
