Shares of Larsen & Toubro gained as much as 0.7% in the morning trade to Rs 3,603.9 on the NSE on Monday. The engineering and construction giant announced it has secured a large order worth Rs 2,500-5,000 crore for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project. The stock is a constituent of the Nifty 50 index.
The company's consolidated revenue for the year-ending March 2025 was Rs 255,734.45 Crore, an increase compared to Rs 221,112.91 Crore in March 2024. The net profit for the year-ending March 2025 was Rs 17,687.39 Crore, up from Rs 15,569.72 Crore in the previous year.
