Buy MRPL, Apollo Tyres; sell Hindalco Industries: CA Rudramurthy BV

CA Rudramurthy BV, Research Head, Vachana Investments told CNBC-TV18, "I have two buy calls and one sell call. MRPL looks very strong for me. A lot of open interest addition is seen with stock prices moving on the upside. Short-term trend is very positive and it has given a dip now to enter afresh. So, MRPL looks very positive. Have a target of Rs 145 for the current month futures and one can have a stop loss at Rs 132."

"I also have a buy call on Apollo Tyres. This stock was at Rs 205 when it made a fresh breakout from where I am recommending a buy. Even at current level, Apollo Tyre looks very positive. It can head towards its all-time highs of Rs 250-255 zone immediately and even from there it can go further up. Have a stop loss of Rs 233 on the long call," he added.

"I have a last sell call on Hindalco Industries. Even in markets like today which is consolidating, metals are looking very weak for me. Hindalco can be a shorting candidate. Look at target of Rs 190, one can have a stop loss of Rs 202 on this sell call."
