Mitessh Thakkar of mitesshthakkar.com told CNBC-TV18, "In line with the belief that we might possibly head higher for the next couple of days before eventually we start correcting again, I have two buys and one sell. The buys are on CESC which is close to support area. So, buy with a stop loss at Rs 972 and look for a Rs 1,010 kind of a target."

"The other buy is on NMDC which is clearly showing a good price and volume action. So, buy with a stop loss below Rs 130.50 and look for Rs 141 kind of a target."

"A sell on HPCL. It is a conditional sell. Let the price break below levels of Rs 405 and sell with a stop loss at Rs 414, and look for a target of Rs 385."

"Yes Bank is very close to important support zones of Rs 285 to about Rs 300. So if somebody has bought with an investment perspective, my sense is that just stay invested. I don’t expect Rs 280-285 to be broken. You still have about 4-5 percent kind of a downside."

"However, barring that, I think the stock is at important support zones. So I think it will eventually bounce back and head towards targets of Rs 350-360 again. So in that sense, take a six months call, hold on, you might even want to add more, closer to about Rs 285 zones if you get it, and keep a stop loss below Rs 270."

"Graphite India has had a very good rally and I think now it is possibly sideways for the last three weeks. They are still doing a range of about Rs 540-542 on the downside to roughly about Rs 630-640 on the upside. I think that range might play out for some time."

"If it is a short term view, the idea should be to buy towards the lower end of the range. So, Rs 550-555 should be your buying area, Rs 540 should be your stop loss, and on the upside, Rs 630-640 should be your profit booking target," he added.
