There’s truly no one like Rekha when it comes to pulling off a traditional Indian saree with grace and style. Her latest appearance in a Manish Malhotra six-yard drape turned heads, as she exuded timeless charm she’s so well known for.
For an awards night, the veteran actress chose a luxurious Banarasi Kora saree, featuring delicate floral motifs and an elegant border in gold and pink. She styled it with a fuchsia pink blouse that added a vibrant pop of colour.
Known for her love of maximalist jewellery, Rekha didn’t hold back. She accessorised with dazzling chandelier earrings, gold bangles, and statement rings. A traditional potli bag and golden heels tied the ensemble together beautifully.
Her makeup was as radiant as ever—featuring a flawless base, gold eyeshadow and highlighter, faux lashes, and her signature matte red lips. Her hair was styled neatly in a chic bun.
Sharing the pictures, Manish Malhotra wrote, “There is always a REKHA about our Iconic and Stunning Rekhaji dressed in a handwoven Chartreuse Banarasi Kora silk sari with gold and silver zari accentuated with a delicate hint of pink #mymmsaree @manishmalhotraworld.”
Rekha has been serving glamorous red carpet moments this year. At a recent movie trailer launch, she turned heads once again—this time in a bold fusion look featuring an oversized white blazer layered over a satin knotted shirt, paired with wide-legged trousers in matching white.
Adding her signature twist, she styled the outfit with chunky gold sneakers and a trendy sling bag. Statement gold earrings, studded black sunglasses, and a beanie hat completed the look. She stayed true to her signature red lipstick and added a touch of drama with gold-painted nails.
