Zayn Malik, the former One Direction sensation, has officially announced his first solo tour, Stairway to the Sky, set to kick off on October 23.
The 31-year-old singer made the exciting revelation during a surprise appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 18, where he thrilled fans with his magnetic energy and a live performance of his new single, "Stardust," from his latest album, Room Under the Stairs.
Zayn also took it to social media to share the tour details with his fans, writing " STAIRWAY TO THE SKY TOUR 2024, Appreciate your patience, love, and support. Can’t wait to enjoy great music together. This time I really mean soon, see you in 35 days…. Tickets on sale Saturday but VIP Key holders will get first access to tickets beginning tomorrow"
The North American leg of Stairway to the Sky kicks off in San Francisco on October 23 and will take Malik to 11 major cities, including Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., and New York City. The North American portion will conclude on November 2 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.
Following this, Zayn will head to the UK, with his first performance scheduled for November 20 in Edinburgh. He’ll also perform in Leeds, Manchester, London, Wolverhampton, and Newcastle, wrapping up on December 3.
Tickets for the highly anticipated tour will be available starting September 19 through Malik's official website, inzayn.com, with general sales beginning on September 21 at 11 a.m. local time.
Zayn’s first solo headlining show earlier this year at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire was an emotional highlight for fans. Performing tracks from Room Under the Stairs, Zayn shared a heartfelt moment, admitting, “I missed this.”
His upcoming Stairway to the Sky tour promises even more unforgettable performances, marking a significant milestone in his solo career. Fans can’t wait to see him take the stage once again.
