Who is Alicia Hannah-Kim? Cobra Kai’s Martin Kove forced to leave event after allegedly biting co-star

Cobra Kai actor Martin Kove has sparked controversy after allegedly assaulting co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim at a recent fan convention. According to a police report obtained by TMZ, the 78-year-old actor was forced to leave Summer Con in Puyallup, Washington, on Sunday, June 22, after reportedly biting 37-year-old Hannah-Kim on the arm.

The incident reportedly occurred when Hannah-Kim approached Kove to greet him. She told authorities that Kove unexpectedly bit her arm, nearly drawing blood. When she cried out in pain, he allegedly kissed the area. Hannah-Kim later informed her husband, actor Sebastian Roché, and the two confronted Kove about the incident.

In the police report, Hannah-Kim stated that Kove became “furious and outraged and visibly angry” when she calmly told him not to bite her. He reportedly defended his actions by claiming it was meant to be playful and “for fun.”

Law enforcement officers at the event issued Kove a warning. He eventually apologized to both Hannah-Kim and Roché before being asked to leave the venue. While police confirmed a “very noticeable bite mark on her arm that was already turning blue and bruising,” Hannah-Kim declined to press charges. Instead, she requested that an informational report be filed, including statements from herself and her husband.

Who is Alicia Hannah-Kim?

Alicia Hannah-Kim is a Korean Australian actress known for her dynamic performances across television and film. Born and raised in Sydney to first-generation Korean immigrants, she began acting with the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) before landing a role on the acclaimed Australian series White Collar Blue.

She made her U.S. television debut in the Starz series Crash and has since appeared in numerous shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Two and a Half Men, Hawaii Five-O, and Minx. In Cobra Kai Season 5, she portrayed the fierce and commanding Sensei Kim Da-Eun. Most recently, she joined the cast of the upcoming Korean spy thriller Tempest for Disney+/Hulu.
