Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, known for creating impactful cinema that resonates with societal issues, recently made a heartfelt appeal to his fellow citizens ahead of Independence Day.

The filmmaker, who often promotes themes of national pride and integrity in his work, extended these values into his personal life by encouraging Indians to celebrate the nation’s independence in a meaningful way.

Vivek Agnihotri urged everyone to gift each other an authentic Indian flag, proudly crafted in India, as a symbol of national pride.

Through a video shared on his social media platforms, Vivek emphasized the importance of supporting Indian-made products, particularly in contrast to Chinese goods. He highlighted that gifting the tricolor flag, made entirely in India, would serve as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our ancestors and inspire citizens to contribute to the nation's future.

His message was clear: this Independence Day, say no to Chinese products and instead, choose to honor India by gifting miniature, authentic Indian flags to friends and family. The flags, crafted by Indic Inspirations and promoted by the I Am Buddha Foundation, represent not just a token of patriotism but also a commitment to supporting Indian craftsmanship and industry.

The Instagram Post read:

“This Independence Day, say no to Chinese products and gift a miniature, authentic Indian flag to your friends and family—proudly crafted in India by @indicinspires, brought to you by @iambuddhafoundation."

In his message, Vivek called on the public to refrain from buying Chinese products every August 15th, encouraging a shift towards Indian-made goods as a way to honor the country's independence and cultural heritage.

This initiative reflects Agnihotri’s consistent dedication to promoting national values both in his films and in his everyday actions.

As he continues to champion these causes, Agnihotri is also preparing for the release of his upcoming film, The Delhi Files. Following the success of The Kashmir Files, he is once again collaborating with producer Abhishek Agarwal under the Abhishek Agarwal Arts banner, promising another hard-hitting narrative that will engage audiences across the country.
