Comedian Jamie Lever has received a lot of backlash on the internet for making an offensive remark about Tanya Mittal on the most recent episode of Bigg Boss 19's Weekend Ka Vaar. After making a comment that many people felt was offensive and insensitive to mental health, Jamie, who had come as a guest to roast contestants, faced criticism.

"You eat baklava from Dubai, biscuits from London... then where do you get treated?" Jamie asked, making fun of Tanya's way of life in reference to mental health care.

"Ilaaj kaha se karati ho," the comment, went viral very fast, and many people referred to it as offensive and cruel.

The comment, according to viewers, went too far and straddled the boundary between humor and personal assault. Many fans remarked that it is unacceptable to make fun of mental health on national television, even in jest. The fact that Tanya has previously been singled out during Weekend Ka Vaar has also infuriated a lot of her admirers.

New guests and influencers are added every week, and they frequently single her out as roasting. Supporters think it has evolved from lighthearted banter to organized trolling. Posts supporting Tanya and complimenting her composure in the face of constant humiliation are now common on social media.

While doing comedy or commentary, many internet users have advised show creators and celebrity guests to be more mindful of mental health. Discussions concerning how entertainment platforms should distinguish between humor and harm, particularly when it impacts someone's emotional health on such a public platform, have been rekindled by the occurrence.

A fan wrote, " Where is empathy darling? I canโ€™t believe Jamie said 'Ilaaj kaha se karate ho'โ€ฆ trolling Tanya under the guise of โ€˜roastโ€™."

Another fan stated, "Ilaaj kaha se karati ho? Arey Jamie, mental health is NOT a joke."

Whether Tanya Mittal is lying about her lavish lifestyle or not is still a debated topic. What are your views on her?
