Prior to venturing into Hindi films and television, Madalsa Sharma gained experience in several South Indian films.
The actress recently starred in Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's 'The Bengal Files' after winning hearts with her portrayal in Rupali Ganguly's hit drama Anupamaa.
Madalsa explained why she chose to concentrate on Bollywood instead of the South Indian film business in conversation with Pinkvilla.
When asked why Madalsa departed South after working there for a few years, the actress said that she was uncomfortable due to a few negative situations.
"I had a few unpleasant experiences there that I felt I couldn't handle. I was unable to follow that course,” she remarked.
The Anupamaa actress added, "Casting couches and all of that, I believe, are there everywhere. I was a little disappointed with what happened, working in the South. I had no prior experience, but there was a discourse that unnerved me. At the time, I was seventeen. However, I recall feeling uneasy and simply leaving, telling myself, ‘Let's return to Bombay now.' she said.

She concluded by stating, “Everybody wants to get where they want to go. I have aspirations and goals, but they are not so great that I allow them to consume me. Therefore, when I said that I'm level-headed, I meant that I'm level-headed about what I want, what I don't want, and how much it will cost. I have therefore made decisions based on that.”
For those who don't know, Madalsa Sharma made her screen debut in the 2009 Telugu movie Fitting Master.
Later, she played important roles in a number of regional films, including Pathayeram Kodi, Shourya, Aalasyam Amrutam, Thambikku Indha Ooru, Mem Vayasuku Vacham, Dove, Super 2, and others.
She also appeared in a few Bollywood movies, such as Samrat & Co. from Rajshri Productions.
