TV actor Yogesh Mahajan dies of sudden cardiac arrest at 44

TV actor Yogesh Mahajan tragically passed away on January 19, 2025, due to a sudden cardiac arrest. He was 44.

Yogesh was found dead in his flat in Umergaon after failing to show up for his shoot on the set of his ongoing show, Shiv Shakti Tap Tyag Tandav.

His colleagues became worried when he didn’t arrive, and upon checking his apartment, they found him unconscious. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
His family later confirmed the sad news of his passing. His co-star, Akangsha Rawat, expressed her shock and sadness, describing Yogesh as a lively person with a great sense of humour. She mentioned that they had worked together for over a year, and everyone on the set is deeply shocked by his sudden death.

Yogesh Mahajan was well known for his work in Marathi films like Mumbaiche Shahane and Samsarachi Maya. He had a dedicated fan following for his performances in both television and films, and his untimely death has left many of his fans and colleagues mourning.

The funeral is scheduled to take place on January 20, 2025, at the Gorari-2 crematorium, located near Pragati High School in Borivali West, Mumbai.

Yogesh is survived by his wife and their seven-year-old son, who will undoubtedly miss him dearly. His passing is a great loss to the entertainment industry, and he will be remembered for his talent and cheerful nature.
