The film earned Rs 2.59 crore on its third Sunday, taking its total to Rs 35.59 crore. While many larger films falter in their third week, this one has maintained its momentum, thanks to its gripping content. Considering the sensitive subject it addresses, its box office success is truly impressive.

Morever, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with fellow parliamentarians, will attend a special screening of The Sabarmati Report today, December 2, at 4 pm in the Balyogi Auditorium, located within the Parliament Complex's Library.

Officials stated that the Prime Minister will head to the Balyogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Building to watch the film, which stars Vikrant Massey.

The film's bold narrative has garnered praise from prominent figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who commended its fearless depiction of the truth.

Seven BJP-ruled states, including Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat, have waived the entertainment tax on The Sabarmati Report. In Uttar Pradesh, the exemption was announced after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended a special screening of the film in Lucknow, joined by the cast, with Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak also in attendance.

Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, The Sabarmati Report aims to uncover the truth behind the tragic fire incident on the Sabarmati Express in Godhra on February 27, 2002, which claimed the lives of 59 devotees returning from Ayodhya after a religious ceremony.

The Sabarmati Report, directed by Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan, also stars Raashi Khanna and Ridhi Dogra in significant roles.

In a shocking development, actor Vikrant Massey, widely acclaimed for his performance in his latest film, has stunned millions of fans with an unexpected announcement. The 37-year-old actor, who made a successful transition from TV to Bollywood, revealed on December 2 that he will be retiring from acting. In a post shared early in the morning, he reflected on his fulfilling career but hinted at new plans ahead, stating that he will continue working until 2025.
