Actor and comedian Sunil Grover recently visited Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, to take part in the Mahakumbh 2025, one of the most significant Hindu festivals. During his visit, Sunil Grover joined thousands of devotees to take a dip in the holy river Ganga, a ritual believed to wash away one's sins.
Sunil shared his experience on Instagram by posting a video of himself immersed in the sacred water. In the video, he expressed his deep spiritual connection to the moment and shared his feelings of gratitude. His caption read, "Divine, Celestial, Godly. Divine to be here at the Mahakumbh 2025. Feeling blessed to take a much-awaited dip. So many Sadhu, Sant, Rishi, Muni, Mahatma have been coming here for thousands of years in the same water. I feel full, complete. Gratitude to each and everyone who helped me to reach here. Jai ho!" Sunil also added the song "Jaikal Mahakal" by Amit Trivedi to the video, enhancing the spiritual tone of the moment.
Other celebrities have also participated in the Mahakumbh, with many sharing their experiences on social media. Singer Guru Randhawa posted a video of himself taking a holy dip at the Sangam in Prayagraj. Actress Mamta Kulkarni was honored with the title of "Mahamandleshwar" by the Kinnar Akhara.
Anupam Kher, another well-known actor, shared a video of his experience as well. He wrote a touching caption, saying, “Life became successful by taking a bath in Ganga in Mahakumbh!! Reached the place where Mother Ganga, Jamuna, and Saraswati meet for the first time. While praying, tears themselves started flowing from the eyes. Look at the coincidence! The same thing happened exactly one year ago today, on the day of Pran Pratishthan in Ayodhya! Jai Sanatan Dharma.”
