Sunil Grover and Rana Daggubati will bring chaos in Rana Naidu Season 2

Netflix just released a wild collaboration between Rana Daggubati and Sunil Grover. The duo are collaborating for the highly anticipated Rana Naidu Season 2.

The streaming giant released a promotional video of the upcoming season, which promises a gripping plot with intense action and too much chaos.

The video started with Rana Daggubati beating a man and saying, “Remember my name, Rana Naidu, when suddenly someone said, “and cut.” Furious Daggubati shouted, “Who called for the cut?”

The promotional video then introduces Sunil Grover. He says, “Mai hun Season 2 ka asali hero naam yaad rakhna… Shana Naidu (I am the real hero of season 2, remember the name… Shana Naidu).”

Daggubati responds, “Who’s this guy? What’s he saying?” Grover mimics Daggubati, leaving him more furious. The quirky banter between the duo teases that there will be more fun and drama in the new season.

The video was captioned with, “Jab Rana met Shana, dhamaka toh hona hi tha… Rana Naidu returns with more action, more drama and more entertainment, out 13 June, only on Netflix.”

Meanwhile, Sunil and Rana Daggubati shared their experience on working with each other, while teasing the upcoming seaosn.

Sunil Grover said, “Rana Daggubati and I in the same frame? Even I didn’t see that coming. Rana Naidu is this intense, gritty world full of power moves, family drama, and action, and then I walked in with my own brand of chaos.”

He added, “The moment Netflix pitched it, I knew it would be madness in the best way. What we shot was wild, unpredictable, and way too much fun. It felt like two completely different worlds crashing together - and somehow, it just clicked. Rana Naidu Season 2 is bringing the drama… and a little bit of mayhem too.”

However, Rana Daggubati noted that Netflix threw the wild experiment while adding Grover to the upcoming season and noted, “When Sunil Grover shows up, you just know things are about to get… unpredictable. One minute I’m brooding like Rana Naidu does best, and the next, I’m dodging punchlines instead of punches.”

He added, “Netflix threw us into this wild little experiment — and honestly, it was chaos I didn’t see coming. We may not be co-stars, but for those few minutes, our worlds collided in the most absurd, hilarious way. And if that doesn’t get you curious about Season 2, I don’t know what will.”

Directed by Karan Anshuman, Suparn S. Varma, and Abhay Chopra, Rana Naidu Season 2 is produced by Sunder Aaron and Locomotive Global. Karan Anshuman has created the series with Season 2 also featuring Venkatesh Daggubati, Arjun Rampal, Surveen Chawla, Kriti Kharbanda, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, and Dino Morea in the pivotal roles.

The latest season promises more chaos, drama, dysfunction, and damage control. Rana Naidu Season 2 will premiere on June 13 on Netflix.
