SSMB29: Mahesh Babu starrer to release as a single movie, SS Rajamouli to break two part movie tradition

​SS Rajamouli’s most anticipated and big-budget project to date includes big actors like Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumaran and of course, our own Mufasa Mahesh Babu. This adventure drama will break the Baahubali curse as it's going to be a standalone film, unlike the franchise that Baahubali was in.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Rajamouli has decided to go the RRR way for SSMB29 too, making it a spectacle and cinematic experience for the audiences.

A source revealed, “He believes that many filmmakers have been using this two-part structure for commercial storytelling and to avoid audiences waiting for the parts of the films, he has designed the screenplay as a single gripping experience”.

Rajamouli’s vision is unique and has a lot packed in, just like RRR, this film's runtime is anticipated to be 3 hours and 30 mins. The makers of the film are planning to reveal a making-of video of this film behind the scenes and updates, which is to be released soon.

#SSMB29 is touted to be one of the most ambitious films from the Telugu film industry. The film is made in collaboration with international Studios and filmmakers, which will elevate the scale and grandeur of this film. Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu have agreed on a 40% back-and-end profit-sharing agreement with producers D.V.V. Danayya and Narayana K.L.

Earlier, Rajamouli shared a video via his Instagram announcing the commencement of the film's shooting, which created hysteria on social media. With every new update, the audience is excited to watch the film. The film's backdrop is anticipated to be the forests of Africa. This Forest adventure will showcase Mahesh Babu in a never-before-seen avatar, and his transformation for the film is impressive. The film is currently in the production stage, and if everything goes according to the schedule, the film will have a theatrical release in 2027.

The makers have recently wrapped up a 15 day extensive schedule in Odisha and soon, a grand press meet is said to be held to announce the officially and answer the much-awaited questions from media and the fans.
