Songs of Paradise: Prime Video sets August 29 global premiere for inspiring musical drama 

Songs of Paradise is the timeless tale of a champion and torchbearer for artists from the culturally rich land of Kashmir layered with emotion, heritage, and hope.

Amazon Prime Video has officially set the premiere date for the inspirational film Songs of Paradise for August 29, 2025. The movie is a powerful tribute to the life of the renowned Padma Shri awardee, Raj Begum, celebrating her incredible journey as Kashmir's first major playback singer.

Produced by Excel Entertainment, Apple Tree Pictures Production, and Renzu Films Production, this moving narrative weaves together themes of music, defiance, and resilience. It highlights how Begum’s legacy inspired countless women and sparked a significant cultural shift within the industry.

Directed by Danish Renzu, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Niranjan Iyengar and Sunayana Kachroo, the film features a distinguished cast. Saba Azad and Soni Razdan share the central role of Noor Begum, portraying the character across different eras. They are supported by Zain Khan Durrani, Sheeba Chaddha, Taaruk Raina, and Lillete Dubey.
