Sonam Kapoor celebrates a milestone moment

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is currently on a break from acting, but she continues to receive love and support from her fans. The actress’ Prem Ratan Dhan Payo title track has recently achieved a new milestone ahead of the film’s 10th anniversary.

Title track Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. The 2015 hit song featuring Sonam and Salman Khan became a viral sensation, inspiring Dubsmash videos with its catchy hookstep. Almost 10 years later, the song's popularity endures, crossing 1 billion views.

However, this wasn’t enough; Sonam’s high-energy dance number Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai from her film Khoobsurat has also crossed 1 billion views on YouTube. With the vocals of Badshah and Aastha Gill, the track still remains a party anthem.

The actress has reacted to the milestone achievement of her two songs and expressed her excitement over the continuous love.

Sonam recalled, “I still remember when the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo title track released—what a time it was! The Dubsmash videos were everywhere. It totally broke the internet. We had the best time shooting for it—it honestly feels like it happened just yesterday. I’m so touched that people still love the song... it really means a lot!”

She also talked about Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai and added, “This has always been one of my favourite songs from my career—and it still makes it to my dance playlist! I remember letting my hair down and just having the best time shooting the music video. It brings me so much joy to see that the song continues to be a popular party anthem even today.”

Sonam is currently focusing on raising her son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, whom she shares with her husband, Anand Ahuja.
