Shraddha Kapoor opens about her partner, confirms relationship

Shraddha Kapoor is riding high on the triumph of Stree 2, which has shattered records to become the highest-grossing Hindi film in history, surpassing even Jawan and Gadar 2. The horror-comedy, featuring Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee, has not only won over audiences but also set a new benchmark for box office success.

While basking in the movie’s blockbuster status, Shraddha’s personal life has also been under the spotlight. The actress, known for keeping her private affairs out of the limelight, has been linked with writer Rahul Mody for some time. Recently, rumors swirled about a possible breakup after she unfollowed him and his family on social media, just before Stree 2's release. However, in a candid new interview with Cosmopolitan, Shraddha appeared to confirm her relationship status by speaking openly about her partner.

Discussing relationships during the interview, she revealed, “I really love spending time with my partner and doing things with him like watching a movie, going for dinner, or travelling. I am generally someone who likes to spend time doing things together or even not doing things together. For instance, even with my school friends, if we don't meet, it affects my mood. Yesterday, we had a family lunch, which was so uplifting and invigorating, and the same goes for my relationship.”

As for her thoughts on marriage, Shraddha took a pragmatic stance, sharing that it is less about whether one believes in marriage and more about being with the right person. She elaborated, “It is not a question of believing in marriage or not, but more a question about being the right person, and therefore being with the right person. And in case one feels they want to get married, then that's great. But if they feel like they don't want to get married, that's great too.”

While the actress has been discreet about her relationships in the past, there have been speculations over the years, including her rumored romance with Aashiqui 2 co-star Aditya Roy Kapur, though neither ever addressed it publicly. Her recent link-up with Rahul Mody reportedly began during the making of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which he wrote. The two have been spotted on movie and dinner dates around Mumbai, and their first public appearance together was at the Ambani pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar.
