Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Priyanka Chopra recently had a memorable reunion in London at the exclusive event, The World of Citadel celebrating their roles in the Citadel universe. This gathering highlighted the diversity of the Citadel spy-verse, which involves collaborations from various countries, including India, Italy, and Mexico. Both actresses attended this event, which was held at Fitz's Russell Square, and they were seen sharing hearty laughs and posing for pictures that were later circulated by Priyanka's fan pages.
The event was hosted by Amazon, showcasing the various chapters of Citadel which have been directed by different creators for each region. The Indian version of the series, led by Raj and DK, features Priyanka Chopra and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who previously worked together for the first time. Samantha, known for her work in Family Man 2 looked stunning in an off-shoulder blue gown, while Priyanka donned an elegant orange halter-neck dress. Both actresses looked radiant as they celebrated their hard work and camaraderie at this high-profile event.
Adding to the excitement, the event also featured Matilda de Angelis, the lead of the Italian spin-off of Citadel. The series is part of a larger global narrative produced by the Russo Brothers, with interconnected stories from different countries, all forming part of the overarching Citadel universe. The Indian chapter has garnered attention, particularly due to the star-studded cast and the chemistry between Priyanka and Samantha.

Interestingly, one notable absence at the event was Varun Dhawan, who plays a significant role in the Indian version of Citadel. While he was unable to attend, Varun shared his admiration for Samantha's determination and work ethic during the teaser launch of the series. He mentioned how Samantha's indomitable spirit, despite her health struggles, deeply inspired him during their collaboration. Samantha has been open about her battle with myositis, an autoimmune condition she was diagnosed with in 2022, and Varun acknowledged the resilience she displayed while working on this physically demanding series.
The event offered a glimpse into the making of Citadel: Honey Bunny, the Indian installment that also stars a talented ensemble cast, including Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, and Sikandar Kher. The teaser for the show, released earlier in August, already has fans excited for what's to come. Samantha and Priyanka’s presence at the London event reinforced the global appeal of the Citadel series, as the actresses continue to captivate audiences both in India and internationally.
