Salman Khan recently reacted to the much-discussed topic of his influence in Bollywood. Several people have credited him with 'making' the careers of many actors, while others have pointed fingers at him for breaking careers.

Speaking about the same in the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, Salman decided to clear the rumours once and for all. Actress Shehnaaz Gill appeared as a guest in the episode along with her brother Shehbaz Badesha who entered the house as a wildcard contestant.

Before Shehbaz entered the Bigg Boss house, Shehnaaz requested Salman to aid him in making his career.

Responding to this, Salman said, "Maine kahan banaye hai kisi ke career. Career banane wala uparwala hai, main thodi hoon. Laanchan bhi daala hai ki kitno ke dubaaye hain (I have never made anyone’s career. The one who makes careers is God, not me. Allegations have even been made that I have ruined many careers.)"

He further rejected these charges, claiming they were baseless and exaggerated.

“Especially dubaane waale toh mere haath mein hai hi nahin. Lekin aaj kal yeh sab chalta hai na ki career khaa jaayega. Kaunsa career khaaya maine? Par agar khaaoon na toh main apna khud ka career khaa jaunga (Especially, sinking someone’s career is not even in my hands. But these days, it’s common to say things like “he will eat up someone’s career.” Which career have I destroyed? If anything, I’d end up eating up my own career)."

Salman refuted all the rumours in a light-hearted tone and responded with a witty reply.
