Bollywood actor Salman Khan has completed 37 years in the Indian film industry, rising from his debut in Biwi Ho To Aisi to becoming one of Bollywood’s biggest superstars with iconic hits across genres.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been ruling the entertainment industry for over three decades and still continues to captivate his fans. The actor has completed a remarkable 37 years in the Indian film industry. Salman has delivered a series of blockbusters.

Salman Khan made his acting debut with a supporting role in the 1988 film Biwi Ho To Aisi, which starred Rekha and Farooq Sheikh in the pivotal roles. The audience loved his performance, and he bagged a breakthrough role in Sooraj Barjatya's directorial 1989’s Maine Pyar Kiya.

Salman Khan portrayed the role of Prem alongside Bhagyashree, who portrayed his lover Suman. Salman became an overnight sensation and a national heartthrob with his charm and innocence.

The film changed the rules for romantic dramas in Indian cinema, not just for Salman.

Salman has since starred in several blockbuster hits, exploring different genres, from action-packed entertainers like Wanted (2009) and Dabangg (2010), to family dramas like Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!(1994), and emotional sagas like Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015).

The actor has also worked with top filmmakers and starred in over 100 films, earning several accolades.

Salman has maintained his status as one of Bollywood's most bankable stars despite experiencing a good deal of box office success and failure. He has a devoted following that crosses generations and continents, who eagerly wait for the actor’s Eid releases.

Salman has also been known to mentor up-and-coming actors, support a range of charitable causes through his Being Human Foundation.

He is now known as the Bhaijaan of Bollywood. He recently returned to the small screens as the host of Bigg Boss 19.

Talking about his films, Salman Khan is currently gearing up for his upcoming war drama, Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the upcoming film is touted as one of the most ambitious war dramas in recent times.

Battle of Galwan is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between India and China, which was fought at over 15,000 feet above sea level without a single bullet being fired. The film promises a gripping portrayal of courage and patriotism.

He will star alongside Chitrangda Singh in the film. Salman also confirmed that the Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel is currently in the works.
