Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has added another grand property to his growing list of impressive addresses. After owning the historic Pataudi Palace and a stylish apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra, the actor has now made a real estate move on the international front.

He has purchased a luxurious home at The Residences at The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, located in The Pearl, a prestigious waterfront area in Doha, Qatar.

Speaking at a press conference organized by the Alfardan Group, Saif shared his excitement and personal reasons behind choosing this particular property. He described it as a perfect holiday home or second residence, praising its easy accessibility, safety, and the overall quality of life in the area.

He said, “There are a few things I think of when I consider a second home. It should be easy to reach, safe, and it should feel good to be there. That’s what this place offers.”

He also expressed admiration for the unique setting, calling it an “island within an island.”

According to Saif, the stunning views, world-class food, curated lifestyle, and relaxed pace of living made the decision a natural one. He revealed that he first came across the property while working in Qatar and staying at the location for a shoot.

“I was filming there and staying at the property. I instantly felt at home. It had this perfect mix of luxury and privacy that really appealed to me. Even the little things, like the menu and service, made a huge difference,” he added.

This international purchase also comes at a meaningful time for Saif. Earlier this year, the actor suffered a violent knife attack at his residence in Mumbai, which led to surgery to remove a fragment lodged near his spine. In true Saif fashion, he made a swift recovery and returned to work shortly after.

Now, with a peaceful and opulent new retreat in Qatar and an exciting line-up of projects, Saif is gearing up for a strong comeback. He will next be seen in "Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins," a high-octane thriller set to stream on Netflix from April 25. Directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, and produced under the Marflix banner by Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand, the film promises to showcase Saif in a slick, action-packed role.
