On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, Bollywood personalities Rohit Shetty, Nushrrat Bharuccha, and Amruta Khanvilkar came together to celebrate the spirit of patriotism with the Mumbai Police.

The trio was seen standing proudly alongside the city’s dedicated officers, clicking photographs and sharing warm moments that reflected unity and national pride.

The highlight of the celebration was the flag-hoisting ceremony, where the tricolour was unfurled by the Mumbai Police in the presence of the celebrities. Rohit, Nushrrat, and Amruta stood respectfully, embodying the values of freedom and service. The gesture was widely appreciated by fans, who saw it as a heartwarming display of solidarity with the protectors of the city.

Amruta Khanvilkar also took to Instagram to share glimpses of her personal celebration. In the pictures, she could be seen marking the occasion with her children, further adding a personal and family-oriented touch to the day’s festivities.

For Rohit Shetty, the moment carried extra significance. Known for his larger-than-life cop universe in films like the Singham series, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, Rohit Shetty has often portrayed the police force as heroic and selfless.

His association with the Mumbai Police off-screen only strengthened his connection with the uniformed heroes. On the work front, the filmmaker is gearing up for the much-awaited fifth instalment of his comedy franchise, Golmaal.
