Yash's Toxic locks its release date

After weeks of chatter suggesting a possible delay, fans can finally breathe easy — Rocking Star Yash’s next big-screen outing, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, will indeed arrive in cinemas worldwide on 19 March 2026, exactly as originally planned.

The speculation had been running wild across social media, but everything has now been cleared up thanks to a direct clarification from well-known film trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Taran reached out to the production team himself to verify the situation and then took to social media with a clear, no-nonsense update: the film is very much on schedule.

According to him, post-production and VFX work began back in April, around the same time Yash started filming Ramayana in Mumbai. The final phase of shooting is currently underway in Bangalore, and once that wraps up, the team plans to roll out an extensive promotional campaign starting January 2026.

Adding to the excitement, KVN Productions, one of the film’s producers, jumped online to reaffirm the release date with a bold countdown post that sent fans into a frenzy:

“140 days to go…
His Untamed Presence,
Is Your Existential Crisis.
#ToxicTheMovie releases worldwide on 19-03-2026.”

The release date couldn’t be better timed. Landing right in the middle of a festive stretch that includes Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and various regional New Year celebrations, followed soon after by Eid, Toxic is poised to take full advantage of the extended holiday weekend — a dream slot for any major release.

Toxic being shot in both English and Kannada at the same time and will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages—make it even more intriguing.
