Canadian rapper Drake is known for his sports gambling. He has recently placed a staggering $750,000 bet on Royal Challengers Bengaluru to with the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy on the popular betting platform Stake.
However, the Grammy-winning singer has recently revealed that he has lost a shocking $8 million in sports gambling. The singer took to his Instagram Story and shared a screenshot of his Stake account, revealing the loss.
Alongside the screengrab, the singer penned, “Gotta share the other side of gambling. Losses are fried right now.” Drake has reportedly placed nearly 125 million in bets. The 38-year-old rapper added, “I hope I can post a big win for you all soon, ’cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max these guys max once a week.”

However, Drake took to his Instagram Story again and shared a hilarious video, taking a dig at the betting platform. The video was captioned, “When I realized that gambling addiction is a lie made up by platforms like Stake to prevent you from winning their money.” The rapper penned in the caption, “Onwards and upwards. We march.”

Meanwhile, the rapper previously celebrated after RCB won the IPL 2025 against Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six runs during the finale. The rapper walked away with an impressive $1.312 million. However, he has bet on several sports events, which seems to have led to his shocking loss.
On the work front, Drake recently featured on Canadian rapper Smiley's latest album Don't Box Me In, marking his first feature since PARTYNEXTDOOR's $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, which was released back in February this year.
