Rajeev Sen and his sister Sushmita Sen threw an intimate bash for their mother on her 73rd birthday recently.

Rajeev shared a few pictures from the birthday bash which was held at his home and it had many relatives. Rajeev's ex wife Charu Asopa and their daughter Zianna was also a part of the celebrations.

Rajeev took to Instagram to wish his mother a happy 73rd birthday.

His heartfelt caption read, "Happy Birthday Maa...cheers to a rocking 73 yrs younger. I love you & so blessed to be your son...To Good health & happiness always Maa."

The post was a warm tribute to his mother, showing the close-knit family bond.

Charu Asopa, who was previously married to Rajeev Sen, shares a daughter, Ziana, with him.

Charu and Rajeev's daughter was present at his mother’s birthday celebration alongside Charu Asopa herself.

The presence of his ex-wife at the Sen family event sparked positive responses in the comment section, where many expressed their desire for the couple to reconcile, although there were some negative remarks as well.

The recent family holiday in Dubai with Rajeev was a memorable one for Charu and Ziana.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Charu shared her thoughts on the trip, saying, "It was very nice. Ziana enjoyed it a lot. It was her first trip with the whole family. We went together because Rajeev is Ziana’s father, and they are her family. I also love Rajeev’s mom and Sushmita didi. Spending time with Rajeev was also enjoyable."

Charu emphasized that she would never want to isolate Ziana from her family, stating, "It’s not like if we got separated then all other relationships have to end. Why would I separate Ziana from her family?" She expressed a desire to maintain a healthy friendship with Rajeev, focusing on their daughter’s well-being. "It’s better to be genuine friends and forget past grievances for Ziana’s sake," she added.

Addressing the negativity she encounters online regarding her relationship with Rajeev and his family, Charu revealed, "I have stopped reading comments due to the negativity. Ignorance is bliss when it comes to handling such situations."

Currently, Charu Asopa is focused on her career in television and managing her YouTube channel. She is dedicated to her role as a single mother, prioritizing Ziana’s needs and well-being.

On the other hand, Sushmita Sen was last seen in the acclaimed web series Taali, which is based on the life of Shreegauri Sawant, a prominent transgender rights activist in India.
