Priyanka Chopra to work on next Hollywood project with Zac Efron

Adding yet another significant project to her expanding portfolio, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is making waves in Hollywood. The global star has formally joined the cast of an upcoming comedy from Amazon MGM Studios, which is written and directed by Nicholas Stoller, who is best known for his successful movies Neighbours and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Will Ferrell, Zac Efron, Regina Hall, Jimmy Tatro, Billy Eichner, and Michael Peña are among the powerful cast members of the untitled movie, which was previously known as Judgement Day.

Priyanka teased fans about the exciting new project by posting a screenshot of the casting announcement on her Instagram Stories to confirm her involvement. Her inclusion with such a well-known cast has created a lot of buzz in the industry, even though her role is still under wraps.

The movie promises a chaotic and darkly humorous story. A young prisoner, portrayed by Zac Efron, unpredictably takes over an unscripted courtroom reality TV program.

The story revolves around his deep-rooted belief that the show’s judge, portrayed by Will Ferrell, once delivered a verdict that drastically and unfairly altered the course of his life. What ensues is expected to be a wild ride filled with tension, satire, and plenty of laughs.

Together with Stoller through his Stoller Global Solutions, Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown are leading the production under the Gloria Sanchez Productions banner. After the success of Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon's You're Cordially Invited, this is Stoller's second partnership with Amazon MGM Studios.

This most recent endeavour strengthens Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Amazon MGM's vibrant collaboration. She is already scheduled to star in Frank E. Flowers's The Bluff and the action-packed movie Heads of State, which also stars John Cena and Idris Elba. She most recently starred in the international thriller series Citadel, and she will co-star with Mahesh Babu in SS Rajamouli's eagerly anticipated SSMB29.
