Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has opted for a more reserved approach in a time when famous children are frequently thrust into the spotlight at an early age.
Zinta has clearly drawn a line when it comes to her children's privacy, much like fellow famous couples Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli and Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
Since she and her husband, Gene Goodenough, welcomed twins Jai and Gia through surrogacy in November 2021, she has taken care to keep their identities hidden from the public.
The Kal Ho Naa Ho star has consistently refrained from revealing her children’s faces on social media and is clear in her stance when it comes to unsolicited photos.
In a recent interactive Q&A session on X (formerly known as Twitter), Preity didn’t mince words while setting firm boundaries with fans and the media regarding her kids.
She explained why she feels uncomfortable being photographed in unsuitable situations in a strong-worded post and sternly warned anyone attempting to take pictures of her kids without permission.
“I hate taking pictures in temples, early in the morning after a flight, in bathrooms and during security checks! Asking me for a photo is the best way to get a photo unless you are asking for pictures in the above situations! Taking my kids pictures will bring out my Kali avatar otherwise I’m a happy person. Don’t start making videos without my permission - it’s actually very irritating - Just ask me politely & please leave my kids alone.” She mentioned.

While fiercely protective of their privacy, Preity still enjoys sharing glimpses of motherhood with her fans—always with careful attention to privacy.
Recently, she posted an adorable moment with her children, captioning it: “Home is where the heart is & right now, I’m definitely missing home! Counting the days before I see them #Ting!”
Her decision reflects a growing trend among celebrity parents who are choosing to offer their children a childhood away from constant public scrutiny, even in an age dominated by cameras and clicks.
