Peppa Pig becomes a big sister again as Mummy Pig welcomes baby Evie

Peppa Pig’s family has a new reason to oink with joy — Mummy Pig has confirmed the arrival of their third child, a baby girl named Evie. The beloved animated family is now officially a party of five, and fans everywhere are celebrating the news.

In a heartfelt interview with People, Mummy Pig opened up about life with baby Evie and how Peppa and George are adjusting to their roles as big siblings. “I’m feeling fantastic,” Mummy Pig said. “I’m so thrilled Evie is finally here, happy and healthy! I won’t say it was an easy birth, because I’m not sure such a thing exists — oink! But it was all worth it once she was snug and safe in my arms.”

Mummy Pig shared that the moment Peppa and George met Evie was pure magic. They burst into the hospital room with Granny and Grandpa Pig in tow, all smiles and excitement. “As soon as they were in the room, they were so calm and loving... Evie couldn’t get enough of their attention, smiling and giggling away!” she recalled.

Choosing the name Evie wasn’t immediate. Mummy Pig said the family spent time considering the right fit before settling on a name with special significance. “It was the name of my Great Aunt, and our little one’s eyes just lit up when we first suggested it, like she knew it was her name already,” she said.

Life with three little ones, Mummy Pig admits, has been a learning curve. “There’s been some wobbles,” she said honestly. “It can be tricky for little ones to understand that babies need a lot of Mummy and Daddy’s time and attention.” But with patience, hugs, and lots of family support, the Pig household is finding its new rhythm.

“More chaos, more laughs, more nappies and more… everything!” Mummy Pig exclaimed. “But we are so lucky to have a wonderful network of family and friends to help us.”

As they settle into life as a family of five, Mummy Pig says she’s most excited about all of Evie’s “firsts” — her first steps, first words, and all the beautiful moments that come with growing up. One thing’s certain: there’s never a dull moment in the Pig family home.
