Actress Divyanka Tripathi, who was seen doing some action-packed scenes in her new OTT show ‘Adrishyam’, has met with an accident. Her actor husband Vivek Dahiya had to cancel a live session with fans on Instagram, and that is when he informed his fans about his wife having met with an accident.
His PR team wrote on the Instagram story: “We’re sorry to announce that Vivek’s live session scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed till further notice. Divyanka had an accident a few hours ago and is now under medical care. Vivek is with her as she recovers. We thank you for your understanding and support. And join us in wishing Divyanka a speedy recovery. Vivek is eager to connect with all of you soon.”
Another image of the X-ray of Divyanka’s arm was posted, and her team wrote: “Divyanka mam has broken two bones on her arm and will undergo surgery tomorrow. She’s in safe hands."
The actress, who has now learned to ride a motorcycle, is often seen going on her two-wheeler to the shoot sets. She and her husband like to ride bikes and hit the roads.
In August last year, Divyanka underwent surgery for two ligament tears. She had shared the video of her going for the operation and then her recovery. She had also shown how she prepped up for the action-based show ‘Adrishyam.’
She shared the video on April 2, informing fans about how she prepared for the role and her injury: “The moment I decided to get two of my very old complete ligaments tear-corrected, I started strengthening my body for the upcoming trauma and lull by working out in a focused manner. I planned my physiology carefully so that I could bounce back on time. @vivekdahiya was a sweetheart, not letting my smile fade even for a moment. My takeaway is that if you don’t take something as a low point, it won’t be! You may fall, but plan well to bounce back.”
Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi, who were co-stars on the hit show ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, got married on July 8, 2016.
Divyanka became a household name after her first show, ‘Banoo Main Teri Dulhan’ in 2006. She had also participated in the dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye’ with Vivek and went on to win the show as well.
Divyanka is currently playing undercover agent Inspector Parvati Sehgal in ‘Adrishyam’.
