On the emotional occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Shweta Singh Kirti, the sister of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, shared a heartfelt post on Instagram.

Accompanied by a touching video of Sushant speaking about his desire to excel as both an actor and a human being, Shweta’s tribute struck a deep chord with his fans and followers.

In her moving message, Shweta wrote, “Happy Raksha Bandhan to my lovely brother. Hope you always stay happy and protected in higher realms in the company of Gods.” The red heart emoji she included in her caption symbolized the enduring love she holds for her brother, who tragically passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 34. Sushant was found dead in his Bandra residence, a loss that continues to weigh heavily on his loved ones and admirers more than three years later.

This June marked the fourth anniversary of Sushant's passing, a solemn moment that prompted Shweta to reiterate her demand for justice.

In an interview with ANI, she expressed her hope that the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) ongoing probe would eventually uncover the truth behind Sushant’s untimely demise. "I have full faith in our government and judicial system," Shweta said, adding that she believes one day the unanswered questions will be resolved. She recalled that Sushant was in good spirits until June 13, though she noted he seemed "a little scared" at that time.

Sushant Singh Rajput's career, though cut tragically short, was marked by incredible achievements. After gaining fame in television with shows like Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Pavitra Rishta, he transitioned to Bollywood, delivering standout performances in films like Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Shuddh Desi Romance, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, Chhichhore, and Dil Bechara. His portrayal of cricket icon MS Dhoni was a career-defining role that catapulted him to superstardom.

Sushant's final film, Dil Bechara, an adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars, was released on OTT platforms after his death, leaving behind a legacy that resonates deeply with his fans.

The loss of Sushant Singh Rajput continues to be felt across the film industry and among his global fan base, who continue to celebrate his life, talent, and the indelible mark he left on cinema.
