American rapper Travis Scott set the stage on fire at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday night with his first-ever concert in India. As part of his Circus Maximus World Tour, the rapper transformed the venue into a dazzling spectacle of lights, music, and energy.

Canadian rapper NAV opened the evening by warming up the audience with hits like Lemonade and establishing the mood for the rest of the evening. Travis immediately captivated the audience as he stormed the stage to the opening beat of Hyaena, causing the packed stadium to erupt in cheers.

“It’s my first time in Delhi — let’s show the world how Delhi pops!” Travis shouted, and the crowd’s thunderous response proved just that. What followed was an explosive performance featuring fan-favourite hits like Sicko Mode, Goosebumps, FE!N, and Butterfly Effect.

Travis performed FE!N several times, and each time the audience sang along louder, making it the night's high point. The stadium was transformed into a sea of sparkling phone lights during Dugs You Should Try It*, establishing an unreal bond between the performer and his audience.

The audience went into a frenzy when NAV later made a surprise comeback to the stage for a collaboration on Beibs in the Trap. Travis turned the concert into an unforgettable party during Type Sht* by bringing three fans onstage in an impromptu and endearing moment.

To ensure a smooth experience, over 3,400 security personnel — including 1,800 Delhi Police officers and 1,600 private staff — were stationed across the venue. Tickets for the Delhi show were priced between Rs 4,000 and Rs 30,000 on BookMyShow.

After the phenomenal success of the Delhi concert, Travis Scott is now gearing up for his next India performance in Mumbai on October 19.
