Popular singer Mika Singh has recently cancelled his scheduled performance at the Soho Club, Delhi, following a tragic car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort metro station on November 10, which claimed 12 lives.
Following reports of the cancellation, Mika Singh posted a folded-hand emoji and a heart with a bandage on his Instagram story to express his sympathy for the victims and confirm the news.
The new date of his Delhi gig is yet to be announced.
For the unversed, Mika Singh has made a name for himself in the Indian music industry thanks to his strong voice, charismatic stage presence, and hit party songs. His live performances are nothing less than a musical extravaganza, featuring hits such as Subah Hone Na De, Mauja Hi Mauja, Party Toh Banti Hai, and Aankh Marey.
Mika was expected to perform his greatest hits, including hits like Bas Ek King (Singh Is Kinng), Dhanno (Housefull), Dhinka Chika (Ready), and Chinta Ta Chita (Rowdy Rathore), and more.
However, Mika is not the only one who has cancelled an event following the tragic blast. The trailer launch for Ranveer Singh's upcoming movie Dhurandhar, which was originally scheduled for November 12 at Mumbai's Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), has been rescheduled, according to the film's makers.

The official statement read, “The Dhurandhar trailer launch scheduled for 12th November has been postponed as a mark of respect to the victims and families affected by yesterday’s Delhi blast. The revised date and details for the trailer launch will be shared soon. Thank you for your understanding. — Jio Studios, B62 Studios & Team Dhurandhar."
The cancellations came after a high-intensity explosion ripped through a slow-moving vehicle near the Red Fort traffic signal on Monday, claiming 12 lives, according to PTI.
