Salman Khan, who has previously collaborated with Ali Abbas Zafar in Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), gave a shout out on his X (formerly Twitter) handle to Zafar's new offering the Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's trailer. Khan posted that he ‘loved’ the trailer and hopes that the film breaks the box-office record of his previous releases, including Tiger... and Sultan. Soon after, Akshay Kumar thanked Salman Khan on the social media portal.

Also sharing the trailer on his Instagram feed, Salman Khan wrote, "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, akki and tiger best of luck for the movie yeh bohut badi hit hogi (The film will be a big hit). Loved the trailer and Ali u need to break tiger and sultan ka record with this one. Umeed hai ke Hindustan ko aap aur aap ko Hindustan Eidi dengein... (Ali, you have to break the records of Tiger and Sultan. Hopefully, India and you will treat each other with Eidis)". The film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha and Ronit Roy. Take a look what Salman posted here:

In response, Akshay wrote: “Thank you bhai @BeingSalmanKhan Tiger zinda tha aur rahega (Tiger will always remain supreme) but hopefully Ali’s magic with BMCM will also be able to entertain the audience!”

Director Ali Abbas Zafar's friend and frequent collaborator Katrina Kaif also joined the bandwagon to cheer for the film which will release on April 10. Sharing the trailer on her Instagram story, Kaif wrote, "Buddyyy Ali Abbas Zafar... looking amazing... this Eid will be (fire emojis)... So proud of you.... looks epic... Akshayy is on fire.... Tiger Shroff is fab..."

The trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan had Akshay and Tiger play Indian army officers who are on a mission to fight against India's most dangerous enemy played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. It also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F and Manushi Chhillar in pivotal roles.

Ali Abbas Zafar earlier said in a statement, “I am delighted to be an integral part of such a big franchise. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is very close to the audience's heart and bringing all the entertaining elements of this mass entertainer to the audience was a tough and enjoyable experience. On top of all, having slated its release for Eid 2024, it will definitely be a treat for the audience to enjoy the festival with power-packed entertainment.” The film releases on April 10, 2024 on the occasion of Eid.

The 3-minute trailer opens with the villain (Sukumaran), who introduces himself as ‘pralay (apocalypse)’. Seen in an ornate mask, the long-haired villain, who's stolen the “most powerful and dangerous weapon” from the Indian armed forces, wields a massive machine gun. The Army chief (Ronit Roy) then summons the only two people — Army officers played by the duo Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff — who can retrieve the said weapon. The two heroes perform high-stakes stunts, and engage in gunfights and car chases, explosions, combat sequences and even turn against each other, “Hum dono ek dusre ke liye jaan de sakte hain, par ek dusre ki jaan le bhi sakte hain (We can sacrifice our lives for our friendship and even take each other's lives if required),” they say.

The success of the movie will be critical for its cast. Akshay Kumar has had a rather rough last few years, with a string of flops that ended only with last year’s OMG 2. Even Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chillar and Alaya F are coming off major flops.
