Malayalam actor Joju George has been injured while shooting for his next film, "Thug Life."
The actor fractured his foot while shooting for the action sequence on the sets of the Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan films. Joju had to return to Kochi after the injury.
"Thug Life" is being directed by Mani Ratnam, and its shoot was underway in Puducherry.
According to a source from the set, Joju George broke a bone in his left foot when he was performing a stunt for 'Thug Life'.
The reports further suggest that the stunt sequence involved a helicopter, and that is when Joju George sustained an injury. The actor was rushed to a local hospital nearby, and an X-ray was done, after which they found a fracture.
Joju's leg is in a cast, and hence he has returned home. The actor has been advised to rest for a couple of weeks.
