Malayalam actor Joju George injured; fractures leg while shooting for ‘Thug Life’

Joju George, the Malayalam actor, sustained an injury during filming for his upcoming movie, "Thug Life." While filming the action scene on the Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan sets, the actor broke his foot.

Malayalam actor Joju George has been injured while shooting for his next film, "Thug Life."

The actor fractured his foot while shooting for the action sequence on the sets of the Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan films. Joju had to return to Kochi after the injury.

"Thug Life" is being directed by Mani Ratnam, and its shoot was underway in Puducherry.

According to a source from the set, Joju George broke a bone in his left foot when he was performing a stunt for 'Thug Life'.

The reports further suggest that the stunt sequence involved a helicopter, and that is when Joju George sustained an injury. The actor was rushed to a local hospital nearby, and an X-ray was done, after which they found a fracture.

Joju's leg is in a cast, and hence he has returned home. The actor has been advised to rest for a couple of weeks.

Mani Ratnam was shooting an important sequence for the movie 'Thug Life' in Puducherry.

The film's next schedule is likely to be shot in Europe. Actors Simbu, Trisha, and Kamal Haasan will join the cast in Europe.

'Thug Life' is a gangster action drama, and Mani Ratnam has co-written the script with Kamal Haasan.

The movie is about thuggees, who were professional robbers and murderers in India.

The film is being jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies.
