Shah Rukh Khan is reported to be recovering well. A source close to the actor informed News18 that his condition had been stabilized.

Bollywood actor and co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalized at KD Hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heat stroke on May 22. The incident occurred after KKR's intense Qualifier 1 IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi stadium. This match, held on a Tuesday night, saw KKR win by 8 wickets, securing their spot in the IPL 2024 finals.

The hospitalization of Shah Rukh Khan quickly garnered media attention, not only due to his celebrity status but also because of the severe health scare amid the ongoing heatwave with temperatures soaring across India.


Reports indicate that he was in high spirits and celebrating the victory of his team when he felt unwell due to the extreme temperatures.

On the following evening, actress Juhi Chawla, also a co-owner of KKR, along with her husband Jay Mehta, met Shah Rukh Khan at the hospital. The couple, who are close friends of Shah Rukh, came to check on his recovery. Their visit made headlines, and they were seen leaving the hospital in a blue-coloured sedan, choosing not to interact with the press gathered outside.

Shah Rukh Khan is reported to be recovering well. A source close to the actor informed News18 that his condition had stabilized and there was no immediate cause for concern. His wife, Gauri Khan also rushed to Ahmedabad to be by her husband’s side at the hospital.

Shah Rukh's health incident has highlighted the serious impacts of heatwaves on health, reminding even the most resilient and active individuals about the importance of taking precautions against extreme weather conditions.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s film "Dunki" and is set to begin shooting for his next project, tentatively titled "King." The film is being produced by Siddharth Anand and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is also rumored to star his daughter Suhana Khan. Recently, during a chat on Star Sports' Knight Club’s King Khan Rules segment, Shah Rukh shared insights into his return to the shooting schedules, hinting that he continues to juggle the demands of his film roles with his commitments to his IPL team, KKR.
