Aneet Padda to star in and as Shakti Shalini, confirms teaser clip in Thamma end credit

Aneet Padda made a dazzling appearance alongside Ahaan Panday in Saiyaara, which turned out to be one of the biggest blockbuster hits of the year.

Earlier, there were reports that Aneet is in talks for Shakti Shalini — the next highly anticipated instalment in Maddock Films’ popular Horror Comedy Universe, following Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2.

Finally, there is confirmation that Aneet is going to play the lead in Shakti Shalini, and it was shown in theatres during the end credits of Thamma.

The Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer Thamma hit theatres this Diwali, on October 21, 2025.

Staying true to Maddock’s signature universe-building style, the makers surprised fans by attaching the announcement teaser for Shakti Shalini in the film’s post-credit sequence.

In the viral clip, a powerful line flashes on screen: “The protector. The destroyer. The mother of all. Aneet Padda in Shakti Shalini. Shakti unleashed Dec 24, 2026.” Naturally, this announcement has set social media abuzz, with fans flooding timelines in excitement, cheering for Aneet and praising her rising versatility as an actor.

As anticipation builds around her next big role, Thamma continues its theatrical run with mixed reviews from audiences, but it’s the Shakti Shalini teaser that has truly become the talk of the town.
