Hanteo recently announced its best-selling album charts for May 2024. aespa's latest album, 'Armageddon', secured the second position with an impressive 1,072,864 copies sold. This marks the group's fourth
album to achieve over 1 million first-week sales, following their extended plays 'Drama', 'MY WORLD', and 'Girls'.

This remarkable achievement makes aespa the first and only K-pop girl group in Hanteo history to surpass 1 million first-week sales with four different albums. The group's consistent record-breaking sales highlight their growing influence and popularity in the K-pop industry.

Released on May 27, 'Armageddon' is aespa’s first full studio album and features ten tracks, including the titular track, pre-release 'Supernova', 'Set The Tone', 'Mine', 'Licorice', 'BAHAMA', 'Long Chat', 'Prologue', 'Live My Life', and 'Melody'.

The group has also released two visually stunning music videos for 'Armageddon' and 'Supernova'. The 'Armageddon' music video, unveiled on May 27, has already surpassed 25 million views, while 'Supernova', released on May 13, has garnered over 60 million views on YouTube.

'Armageddon' has achieved several historic feats since its release. The pre-release track 'Supernova' quickly became the fastest girl group song to achieve a Perfect All-Kill, topping all real-time and weekly domestic charts in South Korea. In addition to domestic success, the album also topped the US iTunes Albums Chart, marking the
group’s first release to achieve this milestone. 'Armageddon' topped the iTunes chart in a total of 25 regions, including the US.
