Actress Adah Sharma has recently shifted into the house where late actor Sushant Singh Rajput used to reside in Mumbai. The sea-facing building Mont Blanc in Mumbai’s Bandra is the same place where SSR allegedly died by suicide.
But the 'Bastar: The Naxal Story' and 'The Kerala Stories' actress has been receiving a lot of hate for her decisions as well.
In an exclusive chat with News18, Adah spoke about the scrutiny that she has been subject to since shifting to her new residence.
"I think by now the audience, the media, and the film industry know that I’m a very private person. I share bits of my life on social media, which I will continue to do, but the parts I don’t feel comfortable sharing, I’m fiercely protective about," said Adah.
Adah has shifted to her new home with her mother and grandmother, and prior to this, they stayed in Pali Hills.
"Our media is sensitive and intelligent, and I am sure they will definitely respect that. My home is home to a lot of birds and squirrels, whom I allow to invade my privacy," she added.
Mont Blanc has been in the news ever since SSR was found dead in the rented apartment in June 2020.
The duplex had been lying vacant for nearly four years, with a Mumbai-based real estate broker revealing that tenants were ‘scared’ to visit the place.
But Adah ignored all this and decided to buy the property: "I take all decisions, whether it’s doing a film or moving into a house, with my heart, so I never doubt any decisions I take. Yes, I’ve shifted to a new place physically, but my permanent place will always be in the hearts of millions of people."
She further said that her family didn't have any apprehensions at all about shifting to this place. “My family, just like me, has very intuitive beings who live life with a lot of faith and joy in their hearts."
