Mahesh Babu leaves for Odisha to start filming next schedule of SS Rajamouli's SSMB29: Report

Several videos have been doing rounds on the internet showing Mahesh Babu leaving Hyderabad airport for Odisha.

SS Rajamouli's next anticipated project SSMB29, starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra, began filming in Hyderabad and as per latest reports, the team is off to Odisha for the next schedule.

According to Times Now, director SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu are set to begin the next schedule of their film this week. The production designer has selected picturesque locations in Odisha's Koraput district for the shoot.

Several videos have been doing rounds on the internet showing Mahesh Babu leaving Hyderabad airport for Odisha. His wife, Namrata Shirodkar was also spotted at the airport.

As of now, the team has not officially confirmed this development. In the upcoming schedule, Rajamouli is expected to film key sequences featuring Mahesh Babu along with the supporting cast. Speculations suggest that the shoot will take place across Koraput, Jeypore, and Deomali, which lies about 60 km from Koraput.

Deomali, the highest mountain peak in Odisha, is nestled in the Eastern Ghats and is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes. With its rich biodiversity and mist-covered peaks, it offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding valleys and forests. The location is also well-known for adventure activities like aero-gliding and trekking, making it a picturesque and thrilling setting for the film.

Last month, Priyanka Chopra was spotted in Hyderabad for the filming of SSMB29. Upon her arrival, she took to social media to share her excitement, posting a note that read, "A new chapter in my life."

SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu officially launched SSMB29 with a grand puja ceremony in Hyderabad on January 2, marking the beginning of an ambitious project. Filming commenced later that month, setting the stage for what promises to be an epic adventure. Written by Vijayendra Prasad and directed by SS Rajamouli, the film is generating immense anticipation. However, the full cast has yet to be officially revealed.
