The animated mythological epic Mahavatar Narsimha has been delivering an exceptional run at the box office since its release on July 25, 2025, emerging as a sensational and unexpected blockbuster, particularly in the Telugu and Hindi markets.

No other star-driven Indian animated film has ever reached the spectacular milestone of crossing the Rs 100 crore nett mark in Hindi alone. The makers have now disclosed the film's astounding 16-day worldwide box office results, building on this success.

Their announcement states that Mahavatar Narsimha has made an incredible Rs 175 crore worldwide, which is evidence of the film's unstoppable craze and enthusiastic audience.

Hombale Films took to social media to celebrate the film’s latest milestone, writing:
"175 CRORES+ worldwide gross & counting… The divine saga of #MahavatarNarsimha is rewriting history at the box office. The roar is unstoppable… experience it in theatres now."

The movie, which was directed by Ashwin Kumar, is a part of the recently released Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, or MCU. The film, which was presented by Hombale Films and produced by Kleem Productions, includes a background score and music by Sam CS.

After the tremendous success of its previous franchises, including Kantara, KGF Chapters 1 and 2, and Salaar Part 1: The Ceasefire, the banner has been able to successfully launch yet another cinematic universe thanks to the film's overwhelming success.

The first film in an ambitious seven-part animated series that explores the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu, Mahavatar Narsimha, was written by Jayapurna Das and is based on the fierce incarnation of the deity.

The studios have also officially unveiled the complete release lineup for the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, which is set to unfold over the next decade:
