Indian animated spectacle Mahavatar Narsimha continues to break records. After becoming the highest-grossing Indian animated film of all time, the film has now received a staggering IMDb rating.

Mahavatar Narsimha has received a whopping rating, 9.8/10 on BookMyShow, 5/5 on Google, and 9.8/10 on IMDb. The film has reportedly become India’s first-ever animated spiritual film to earn over 9 ratings on IMDb.

Meanwhile, the film’s music video, Roar of Narsimha, has earned over a million views. Additionally, the animated film is making waves at the box office.  Mahavatar Narsimha has earned over Rs 118.15 crore net in India in just 14 days.

Produced by Kleem Productions and presented by Hombale Films, Mahavatar Narsimha continues to perform well at the box office. The film has earned Rs 91.25 crore in India within just 10 days of its release and has a worldwide total of Rs 112 crore.

The film explores the classic story of Prahlada and his despotic father Hiranyakashipu. Narsimha, Lord Vishnu's fourth avatar, arrives dramatically at the end of the story to restore dharma. Meanwhile, Mahavatar Narsimha is the first instalment in a ten-part cinematic journey that chronicles Lord Vishnu's avatars.

However, Mahavatar Narsimha is the first instalment of the Mahavtar franchise, and the makers have already planned the other films. The Mahavtar universe will span over a decade and chronicle the ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu: Mahavatar Narsimha (2025), Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dwarkadhish (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035), and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037).
