Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress Jaya Bhattacharya talks about being underpaid and insulted with comments like 'gandi aurat hai, iske as pas mat rehna'

Well, the original Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi had one of the most prominent faces in the form of Jaya Bhattacharya. She essayed the role of Payal.

Now, in a recent interview reported by Pinkvilla, Bhattacharya disclosed some disturbing incidents which happened with her during her stint in the show.

Reportedly, Jaya recalled that when she was shooting for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, where she portrayed a negative role, she faced a major backlash.

The publication reported that there was a seven am shift when Smriti was pregnant and since they were hungry they ventured out to grab a bite. She mentioned that they were merely relaxing holding hands and a woman pulled them apart.

The publication quoted Jaya saying how the woman displayed herself as, "Yeh gandi aurat hai, iske as pas mat rehna bache pe bura asar padega (She is a bad woman. Don't be with her, the child will have a bad impact)."

The publication reported that Jaya felt how she was not accepted by the audience. She shared that her stint was a cameo but was extended and that she was a part of the project for seven long years but was underpaid.

Apparently, she mentioned that everyone got a raise of double the price of hers and that she had to ask for a raise while others got it naturally.
