According to a report by Mydaily on Tuesday, Ji will be on hiatus for about three to four weeks, beginning in September and continuing into early October. “Ji Ye-eun needs time to rest,” a source from the industry shared. “After thorough discussions with her doctor, she plans to take a break of about three weeks from September to October.”

Her agency, CP Entertainment, confirmed the news in a statement issued on August 26. “Starting next month, Ji Ye Eun will focus on her health and recovery,” the agency said.

They also assured fans that she would receive their full support during this time, adding, “CP Entertainment will provide all necessary support to ensure the actress can take adequate rest and make a full return.”

Ji Ye Eun has been a bright presence on screen since her debut in the 2017 web drama How To. But it’s her charm, wit, and impeccable comedic timing on variety shows like Saturday Night Live Korea and Running Man that truly made her a household name.
