Widely known for her part in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, television actress Sonyaa Ayodhya has reportedly finalised her divorce from restaurateur Harsh Samorre.
The couple had been together for five years before getting married in a lavish destination wedding in Jaipur on December 12, 2019.
Close friends and co-stars Erica Fernandes, Shubhaavi Choksey, and Harsh Rajput attended their wedding and Sonyaa described it as the "happiest day of my life" in a since-deleted Instagram post.
While there has been no official confirmation from either Sonyaa or Harsh, speculation had been growing for months. Eagle-eyed fans noticed subtle changes, such as the two unfollowing each other on social media and deleting all shared photos, including heartfelt posts in which Sonyaa once described Harsh as “My Real Life Hero” and “the man of my dreams.”
The digital silence only added fuel to the rumours, which have now reportedly been confirmed with their legal separation, finalised in early April 2025, according to ETimes.
Adding to the speculation, Sonyaa had been sharing introspective and emotional posts on her social media accounts, one of which read: “Embrace your sadness. It’s through acknowledging our lows that we find balance, healing and true growth. Every emotion has its purpose – let it guide you to a deeper understanding of yourself.”
Though she hasn’t spoken directly about the split, her words have resonated with fans, many of whom have expressed both shock and support over the news.

With her roles in Sanjog, Nazar, and Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Sonyaa has established herself professionally. She seems to be concentrating on getting better and moving on now that the chapter of her marriage has been quietly closed.
Although many have been surprised by the end of her marriage, Sonyaa appears to be embracing this new stage with courage and reflection, looking inward to rediscover herself as she embarks on a fresh start.
