The internet has lately been divided over Team Conrad or Team Jeremiah.

KJo took to his Instagram Story and reacted to the movie, claiming that he brought the similar drama first in the 2012 film. He shared a poster of Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra from the film.

The director made a lighthearted comparison between the show and his movie Student of the Year, pointing out that after the movie's premiere, Indian audiences were split between Team Varun Dhawan and Team Sidharth Malhotra.

Karan penned, “Team Conrad or Team Jeremiah? It’s Team Rohan or Team Abhimanyu! #WeWereHereFirst #SummerShanayaTurnedPretty.”

With its captivating plot, powerful performances, and incisive writing, Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty continues to entertain the Indian audiences.
